1. Who We Are
My IPOS ("the App", "we", "us") is a point-of-sale application developed by FA3 for use on Android and iOS devices. This policy explains how the App handles information.
2. Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal information.
The App is a standalone user interface. It has no user accounts, no login, no cloud sync controlled by us, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no crash reporting service. We do not receive any data from your device.
3. Data Stored on Your Device
Any data you create inside the App — menu items, orders, customers, tables, receipts, printer pairings, settings — is saved locally on your device using the device's private storage. This data:
- Never leaves your device through our services.
- Is not accessible to us or any third party.
- Is removed when you uninstall the App or clear its storage.
4. Device Permissions
The App may request the following permissions solely to deliver its features. None of these permissions are used to collect or transmit personal data:
- Bluetooth — to discover and connect to thermal receipt printers.
- Location — required by the operating system in order to scan for nearby Bluetooth devices. The App does not record, store, or transmit your location.
- Wi-Fi / Nearby devices — to allow optional on-premises synchronization between devices on the same local network. This is a direct device-to-device connection; nothing is sent to any external server operated by us.
5. Local Network Synchronization
If you choose to use the optional sync feature, data is exchanged only between devices on the same local Wi-Fi network that you explicitly pair. This communication does not pass through our servers because we do not operate any backend for the App.
6. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. It relies only on operating-system-level APIs (Bluetooth, local storage, networking) provided by Android and iOS.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for use by businesses and their staff. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
8. Your Control Over Your Data
Because all data lives on your device, you are in full control. You can:
- Delete any record from within the App.
- Clear the App's storage from your device settings.
- Uninstall the App, which removes all associated data.
9. Security
Data is stored using the device's standard sandboxed app storage. We recommend enabling a device passcode, biometric lock, and full-disk encryption (on by default on modern Android and iOS devices).
10. Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the App or our distribution channel.
